Peeling Fabulous Illusion Makeup

Hey!

How’re you peeling? …

lol Sorry I love puns so much … (perhaps a bit too much =D)

I hope you’re doing well and that you will enjoy my interpretation of Igor Morski’s mind blowing artwork ! =) That’s his beautiful work on the left picture and my makeup on the right.

I loooooove optical illusions ; they fascinate me and this picture had been bookmarked on my instagram account for a while, so it was time I honoured it! 🙂

Let’s look at the transformation process, shall we?

Step by Step

This illusion makeup took me 6 hours and one of the most difficult step was in fact, to blend in the white paint nicely on my chest lol… I initially applied water-activated paint with a brush but I hated seeing all the brush strokes and the cracking (because I tried to get rid of the strokes by applying several layers of paint…) so I removed it all and re-did it with oil paint and a beauty blender. Much betta !

Anyhow here’s a little pictorial I made for you guys and further down you’ll find my youtube video !

    1. Thank youvery much for being back ! It means a lot ! 🙂

It does take time to learn how to paint but when you’re really passionate about something, you’ll do anything you know? 🙂

      Cheers

Wow, you are incredibly patient and creative. I don’t think I could sit still for doing makeup for 6 hours! And you must be a perfectionist too because you experimented and found the right makeup and approach to make your optical illusion. You should be in hollywood on the effects team. I can tell that this is your passion. Do you plan to do more projects like this? I will have to keep an eye on your site!

    1. Hi !! thank you so much for the kind words, they mean a lot !

I do plan to do more projects like this, yeah, until I’m too wrinkled to paint myself lol. I post one video a week, sometimes more but at least one tutorial a week on here, on youtube, instagram… almost everywhere! lol

As for Hollywood, hell why not, it doesn’t hurt to try, right? 😀

      Take care

      Sarah
